Ask Us Desk
The Ask Us desk is the central service desk at the Chester Fritz Library. Located on the second floor of the library (or give us a call at 701-777-4644), our library staff are here to help you:
- Find and checkout materials
- Navigate the building and campus
- Direct your library related questions to the right department
Our librarians are here to help. Stop by during walk-up reference hours, call us at 701-777-4644, make an appointment, or use the 24/7 chat.
Find your subject librarian to get specialized research assistance.
Set up a 20-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute virtual or in-person appointment with a librarian who specializes in your subject.
CFL Librarians are available during regular Reference and Research Services hours. Librarians at participating institutions are able to chat with students, faculty, and staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
Emails are directed to the Ask a Librarian email account, which is monitored Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Any question arriving outside desk hours will be answered the following business day.
Drop-In Tutoring is available at the back of the Knowledge Commons. Subjects and classes may change depending on availability.
The National Scholarships and Fellowships Society is at the library on Tuesdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
